8:30 – 9:00 AM: The day will start in Toa Kham Wharf; Kim Long Village, a famous garden in Hue. From there, you will have a chance to see where traditional cakes are made. These cakes are Hue specialties. After enjoying your sweet snack, travel to the tomb of a notable general who served under Emperor Ham Nghi.
Continue your journey to the traditional handcraft villages and countryside market. Discover the process of making paper hand fans and learn under the instruction of a talented craftsperson.
After trying your hand at traditional crafts, head to the village that specializes in making girdle-cake (rice-paper) and steamed thin rice pancakes.
Take a short rest at your next destination, a riverside pagoda. After sailing across Perfume River by dragon boat, you will have an unforgettable experience at Eco-garden. You can participate in many interesting activities such as: talking with local farmers who share their useful expertise of growing vegetables as well as how to take care of crops, practice grinding rice, preparing lunch with a traditional Hue dishes enjoying other local foods.
